DJ Yoda, one of the UK's most celebrated mixmasters, has announced an all new 14 date UK tour as he hits the roads to take movie-cut & pasting to the masses.
Expect Yoda's typical handsome mish-mash of beats - a large dose of hip hop mixed up with some classic 80's, a bit of drum and bass and even a small helping of country music - but this time set to a two-hour movie background of crazy film collage.
This new tour (a precursor to his long-anticipated artist album on Antidote Records) follows on from two summers of 80's movie-rescoring for Yoda. His infamous 2003 re-working of 'The Goonies' saw London's ICA packed to the gills, and a mini-tour last summer, designed to correspond to 'Ferris Buellers Day Off' was met by rapturous audiences at the Big Chill festival.
