The Santa Barbara four-piece DevilDriver formed in 2003 after the end of frontman Dez Fafara's previous group Coal Chamber. Vowing to start over and work his way up to the top of the metal ladder again, his group DevilDriver have been relentlessly touring and producing albums over their seven years of existence, the latest of which, Pray For Villains, is a self-assured, powerful and violent release, joining their three previous albums in an impressive back-catalogue. There is a claim that they started the largest ever circle pit in history, something that, if we are to believe their hard work ethic, they will be aiming to better this time around at Dour.
