The Los Angeles producer Flying Lotus, nephew of Alice Coltrane, repeatedly demonstrates his incredible talent with superb productions that evoke the electro of Egyptian Lover, incorporating a west-coast atmosphere in the style of Snoop Dogg. It is currently a unique period for Flylo, who, having mixed Radiohead, is now seeing the group take inspiration from his special touch on their new album, most notably on their track "Lotus Flower". Has the pupil outgrown his master?
