That the Paris born and bred General Elektriks (aka RV Salters) is a big fan of synthesisers and keyboards, becomes fairly obvious when you listen to his music. Influenced by rich traditions of music - soul, blues, classical - it is not lightly that he integrates a keyboard into his show, choosing each for their range of sounds, tone and ability to speak in new ways on well-worn subjects. Live, he has an unbelievable groove, dancing and jumping around, playing and hitting his keyboards with disconcerting dexterity; certainly something to behold.
