The Berlin based musician Konstantin Gropper creates a genre of chamber-pop that recalls the highly conscious arrangements of Rufus Wainwright or The Divine Comedy, dipping into the brooding of Radiohead along the way. His lyrics are equally conscious, providing both instrospective and broad musings on life, using poetic and anachronistic English. His first album, Rest Now Weary Head, You Will Get Well Soon, has internationally received rave reviews, a release that was made possible after years of wowing crowds live.
