Yukimi, Fredrik and Erik of Little Dragon (the name given to Yukimi for her fiery temper) met at high school in Gothenburg. Starting out with a variety of different groups, they eventually came together and found their way to Off The Wall records, where they released a first single. At the same time, Yukimi and Erik were performing with José Gonzalez, and it was on the same label as his, Peacefrog, that Little Dragon were able to release a first album. Their second, Machine Dreams, released in 2009 contained more upbeat and danceable versions of songs that they had been forming years previously. Most recently their pedigree was confirmed by their appearance on two tracks on Gorillaz's lauded Plastic Beach album.
