UK punk-rock group Lower Than Atlantis have two albums to their name, the latest entitled 'Far Q'. Singer and guitarist Mike Duce's lyrics stand out particularly strongly from the 90s grunge/punk inspired music with acute observations and dark, dry humour (take the title 'I'm Not Bulimic (I Just Wanted To See How Far I Could Stick My Fingers Down My Throat)' for example). Taking The Smashing Pumpkins, Blink 182 and Foo Fighters as their reference points, Lower Than Atlantis are in-your-face, loud and excitable.
