Luke Wallace
Dour Festival 2005 | Luke Wallace

With a visa fast running out and trying to avoid the option of a marriage for visa sham (well, never say never), Luke Wallace tracked down a Northern Ireland ancestry, of which he is now a citizen of Northern Ireland. Despite never actually having been there.

Whilst battling a crack-like-addiction to vinyl, with no help from the array of Soho record dealers, Wallace has been playing records at various venues and clubs around London. His short attention span allows for an ecclectic music taste ranging from dusty funk, hip-hop, electro, house, rock, drum & bass, breaks, acid, dub & reggae have seen him share the decks alongside DJ Sneak, Adam Freeland, Arthur Baker, Spektrum, Kerri Chandler, The Bays, cult Brit rockers British Sea Power, Infusion, Riton, A-Skillz, XFM's Nick Luscombe, Norweigen jazz-trumpeter Nils Petter Molvaer, The Loose Cannons, Evil 9, guerilla rockers The Others, The Film, Finish jazz mystro Jimi Tenor, plus many more.
