Dour Festival 1996 | Pitch Shifter
Pitch Shifter

Pitch Shifter was the initial name variant of Pitchshifter. During their early years the band used the moniker "Death Industrial" for their music (also the title of an early 7") and as such was heavily influenced by bands like Godflesh as heard on the albums Industrial and Submit. Sonically, this period of the band had started to come to an end by the time of Desensitized in 1993. A complete transition from their previous death metal-esque stylings had taken place by the time of 1996's Infotainment? and in 1998 the band had officially changed their name to Pitchshifter.
