The livest is a Belgian live hip hop band, based around the woods of Brussels. The band plays mainly hip hop music with lots of soul, salsa, funk and jazz influences. This formation brings 100 % live music, no samplers or drum loops etc. Their main objective is all about live shows full of positive vibes and energy. Together they create an fresh, soulful urban sound in with the accent lies on positive vibrations. Soulful hooks, Latino rhythms, rhymes, smooth bass solo's and funky beats it is all here.On stage, the livest is as real as it gets, puur en eerlijk. trying to give the people a goddamn goodtime... They played at venues such as De Nachten, Hove Live, Athanor, opener for Dizzee Rascal in Botanique, opener for Young BloodBrass Band.The livest participated in Rockvonk and ended second place, they are also part of the 100% puur pop project (www.poppunt.be).
