The fourth album In And Out Of Control by The Raveonettes was another great addition to their repetoire. This most recent album by the Danish group The Raveonettes slots in nicely somewhere between Velvet Underground and The Cure. Taking equal measure of fuzzy rock and gorgeous, melodious pop, they manage to show that the two are by no means diametrically opposed. With the icy voice of Sharin Foo and the confident guitars of Sure Rose Wagner, The Raveonettes create a unique atmosphere on stage, the sonic equivalent of the impossible fusion of ice and fire.
