There are only 50 days remaining until Dour Festival 2012 kicks off!Each year, more and more of you descend on the festival from the four corners of of Europe, and you will almost certainly be asking yourself what the best and simplest way for you to get to here. To help, here are 7 ways to get to Dour Festival.

  1. By luck

    Yes, you can! If you think that a couple of summer days spent in Belgium could be fun; that you like music and a party, and that you’ve heard of this great little festival called Dour! Then however you get here, just get here!

  2. By train

    If you’re coming to the festival by train, you’re making a good choice! The train station you need to get to is Saint-Ghislain. From there, a shuttle bus will transfer you from the station to the festival. For more information on the train times from all over Europe, go to b-europe.com.

  3. By Bus

    There is nothing more simple thanks to our partner companies: Ontours (FR, LU), Big Green Coach (UK) and Big East (NL, BE)

  4. By sharing a lift

    Ecological, economical - and you can meet some new people! We are just 45 mins from Lille, 50 mins from Brussels, 2 hours 20 mins from Paris, and 2 hours 45 mins from Cologne.

    Dour is situated on exit 26 on the E42 and E19 motorways. Once at Dour follow the signs put in place to aid your arrival. There are free drop-off points and carparks near to the festival. On Wednesday 11th and Thursday 12th July you will not be able to exit carparks until after 6pm. Make sure you plan ahead!

  5. By Bike

    Make a break for it and come and find us at the foot of the surrounding hills. There is a special bike-park for you there

  6. By plane

    There are three airports near to Dour, making getting to the festival simple: these are Brussels, Charleroi and Lille.

  7. By hitchhiking

    The classic mode of transport: stick out your thumb and cross your fingers!
